Bachipedia – a project of the J.S. Bach Foundation
The J.S. Bach Foundation is performing the entire vocal oeuvre of Johann Sebastian Bach in an ambitious concert cycle lasting around 25 years. The first concert took place in 2006, and since then, all introductory workshops, concerts and reflective lectures have been recorded on video. Over the years, we have amassed an extensive collection of audio and film material as well as other content related to the master’s works. One of the Foundation’s aims is to raise the profile of Bach’s vocal oeuvre – especially among the young. To this end, the Foundation established the “Bachipedia” platform.
